Lioness adopted a baby antelope after she had eaten its mother. When the lioness was about to go, she noticed the orphaned baby antelope, at first she was roaring, wanted to make the baby go away. But then her maternal instincts woke up, and got the antelope as her own cub.

Photographer Stephane Ducandas captured this incredible moment of a spear fisherman frozen mid-air as he leaps to catch a fish. Part of a sea clan, living almost entirely from fish and other sea creatures, the fisherman shows off his incredible skill and accuracy in the beautiful tropical paradise on Loyalty Island Province, part of New Caledonia – a small group of islands in the southwest Pacific Ocean. Stéphane, who lives on the islands, captured the amazing photo using his DSLR camera in a specialist underwater waterproof bag to protect it from the water and using his reactions to snap the photo at the perfect time.
This giant tree is not the stoutest in the country. There are at least two baobabs with larger trunk diameters – Glencoe Baobab with the incredible diameter of 15.9 metres (unfortunately this tree split into two parts in November 2009) and Sunland Baobab with 10.64 m diameter. But the Sagole tree is the largest one in overall appearance and possibly – the largest one in trunk volume. Tree unites amazing trunk size with a circumference of approximately 32.8 meters (3.) with the significant height of 22 metres.
