Royal Roads University Campus Tour and Lunch (Aug 11, 2012)

Royal Roads University is still accepting applications for international students to study for a bachelor’s degree this fall.

Join us in Victoria on August 11 to visit the campus and learn first-hand how you can start earning your Bachelor’s degree next month in Business, Professional Communications, Justice Studies or Hospitality and Tourism Management.

Royal Roads University + Victoria Tour

TOUR ITINERARY HIGHLIGHTS

Depart Vancouver at 7:15am (please arrive at Canada Place by 7:00am) Ferry through the beautiful Gulf Islands

Enjoy a scenic coastal drive through the beautiful communities of Oak Bay and James Bay – Stop at Beacon Hill Park and Mile 0 (the start of the Trans Canada Highway)

Stop at Fisherman’s Wharf and feed the seals

Driving sightseeing tour of downtown Victoria including the
Inner Harbour, Government street, China town, Empress hotel, and legislative buildings

Visit Royal Roads University, enjoy a tour of the castle and have lunch while you learn more about their programs

Return to Victoria with free time for more sightseeing or to join an optional activities such as visiting Craigdarroch Castle,
the Royal BC Museum, or Butchart Gardens

Leave Victoria in the late afternoon (5.15pm) Return to Vancouver approximately by 9:30pm

Google Drive is now available to all students with their @canada-english.com or @canadiancollege.com email addresses which alows you to store 5 gigs of files in google cloud.

Cambridge FCE starting on March 19th

If you are interested in taking Cambridge FCE please see the CCEL staff on the 4th floor.  The class starts on March 19th.

The Cambridge First Certificate in English (FCE) students receive a certificate awarded by University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations, and recognized by universities and employers in many countries.

Spring ahead: Daylight savings time starts March 11, 2012

At 2 a.m. on Sunday March 11 2012, Canadians will turn their clocks an hour ahead for daylight savings time.

Starting next week, many of us look forward to an extra hour of daylight.
