The next EAP140 Entrance Exam will be held on Wednesday, May 8, 2013.  The next EAP courses start on Monday, May 20.

Students are able to participate in the entrance exam if they fulfill one (or more) of the following criteria:

• they are a current ENG130 student,
• they are a current ENG125 student but scored 70+ on the Multiple Choice Section and ENG125 in the Writing Section on their most recent Exit Test, and/or
• they have an IELTS score of 5.0 (the original of which needs to be provided to the school)

If a student does not fulfill any of the above criteria, they may be able to participate in the EAP140 Entrance Exam if their current AM teacher provides a written recommendation for them to take the exam (this can take the form of a brief e-mail to me).

This is the first year that Family Day is being celebrated it is a brand new holiday. Enjoy the long weekend.

Vancouver fire and safety was unable to attend the previously scheduled fire inspection and have re-scheduled to attend on Thursday, January 31, 2013 between the hours of 8:00AM and 4:00PM to perform the annual fire equipment tests and inspection. To complete service access will be required to all areas where fire equipment is located. There will be short 2 second tests of each alarm bell on the premise. These alarm bell tests will be conducted between 8:00AM and 11:00AM to help minimize disruption to your business.

• The Tour includes:
• 8:00am Meet at the Hyatt Hotel on Burrard St. ( Beside Burrard Skytrain station)
• 9:30am Breakfast on the bus (included in tour)
• 12:30pm Arrive at Thompson Rivers University
•  12:30 – 1:30pm $5 Lunch at our International Building
• 1:30 – 2:30pm Meet TRU officials and Presentation of courses and requirements
• 2:30 – 4:15pm Campus Tour (Residence, Library, fitness facilties, classrooms, student buildings, etc)
• 4:30pm Bus departs to Vancouver
• 9:00pm Arrival at Hyatt Hotel
